So, what is it about Ivana that has you sitting right here and now looking at these words eagerly awaiting anything new about ivana and/or her movies?

Well I'll share my thoughts first and then you all can =)


The first time I saw this amazing girl was in Pan's Labyrinth (like most of us). Watching the movie for the first time it felt like any movie to me. By the time the end arrived I was amazed by the outcome. Seeing Ofelia get shot did it for me, that was intense and something I never would have expected. When the credits ran I kind of just sat there wondering what on earth I had just seen. As the evening crept into the night I just couldn't get over the movie. So I watched it again, but this time withe audio commentary from the director. Well after that night I had fully realized I was Inspired and Captived by Ivana baquero for sure =) And here is why:

- Flawless, ok when I mean flawless don't mean she is so perfect she will never make a mistake, I mean her acting. Amazing acting, it never felt like acting the whole movie and she was only like 11 or 12 at the time! WOW
That was the real kicker, a 11ish year old girl playing role most adults couldn't hold to the level she displayed.
- Modest, I've never liked actresses or actors who show too much skin or just do stuff that I personally think should not be on the screen in the first place. I fell in love the character Ofelia becasue she is modest, kind, unselfish, and to top it all of just plain cute. And after that night of watching Pan's Labyrinth I did research on Ivana to find out she pretty much the same. I hope she always portays a level of dignity and Professionalism as she grows up.
- Just Awesome, words cannot describe it really. She just looks awesome and perfect for any role in any movie she is in.
- Educated, she'd beat me anyday in a contest for who can speak more languages. Wow, just wow, 3 languages! and she is only 13! I have much respect for her.
- Honest and not star struck, I remember in the interview called "unscripted' Ivana was talking about how she doesn't tell her firends too much about her acting career. She also said that when they do hear about it some of them get jealous and mad at her. aww . . . if they only knew what they were saying lol. That shows character right there, she won't even boast about her own accomplsihments to her freinds.

I bet she does has cool friends, do you happen to know anything about them? I haven't seen any pictures of her firends yet . . .

I know some of her friends, not personaly, are good peopls, i dont know about her life together them ,cause, I'm not interested to know about her personal life, her life is her life...i have seen pics of some her friends, she has nice friends girls!

that's really cool :D I bet Ivana does have good friends. Ivana always seems so happy, I really hope she never loses that bright beautiful smile :D

Yeah I think that was one of the major things that got me when I saw her in Pan's Labyrinth. Her acting is amazing, but also the way she presents herself to people is just as good.
