ok not literally but seriously is NR2003 hawt or what?

New Nationwide Mod soon to be, new track updates ALL THE TIME, the new special effects package that just came out as well.

I am having the time of my life with this game. All the mod and updates to make a '2003' game be 2010 is so awesome.

I mean everything graphics wise in this game has been revamped. Not even my more recent games use more graphics power than my NR2003 does. And I have a powerful new graphics card too lol

IMO, iRacing has hott cars.

The Nationwide car is (Censored) sexy in iRacing, actually off balance, different grille tape settings per different tracks, working RPM lights on the in-car tach's to show if your at pit road speed/pacing speed, working visual suspension, just, omg I love it.

Their working on scanning the new Nationwide car now, which they hope to have out in a couple of months.

Just so much of what they do is amazing, visually and physically.

I only mention iR because it's the same guys who made NR2003. The OVal stuff (The Impala A (Cup) Impala B (Busch car) Truck (duh?) Late Model (Crate, actually) SK Mod (Nascar weekly series mod's) The Touring Modified (Whelen Modified) and the 600 Racing Legend (LEGENDS). It all is essentially what Nascar Racing 2010 Season would BE.

I want to take some artistic shots to show some of the things I mean about it. The suspension stuff is amazing to watch (especially on road courses) the in-car detail is to die for.

Again, I don't bring this up to gloat, but to show what the amazement of the guys who made NR2003 are still doing.

Yeah, it sucks to pay for tracks and cars, but for NR2003, they didn't physically scan EVERY track. Taking weeks to perfect every little bit of them. Same thing with the cars, they weigh everything, from tires, down to the bolts that hold the shifter into place. They have to pay teams to use their cars, pay tracks for private time to scan them. work out deals with all the sponsors involved so that iRacing can use their name. The money to do that isn't going to come from nowhere.

Plus, as they keep growing, they can lower prices on things. and they have.

yeah but I'm not all for everything having to be super realistic for NR2003. The guys who make the mods and tracks for NR2003 do a great job. Since its all fan made its almost always done really well.

The tracks and mods of NR2003 are good enough for me, not to mention all the fantasy tracks and mods they make as well =)

If you are in it to have fun, nr2003 is the way to go. If you want extreme precision, iR is the way to go. I enjoy both.
