Title: April 14th, Last day of Original xbox live

Serenity - April 14, 2010 01:52 PM (GMT)
Well after today the original xbox live is being shut down. I've been playing Halo 2 and its been pretty crazy seeing as I don't remember any of it, its amazing how far graphics have come as well in just 5+ years :o

Well that sucks, but there is a new Xbox live isn't there ?

Sad though, I'm sure a lot of nostalgic will be lost.

actually microsoft announced it would end exactly at 12:00am PDT

but anyways I went on a 13 hour Halo 2 spree to send off the original xbl.

Crazy long time I know but so worth it playing retro style for so long. When i get back in Halo 3 I will be pressing all the wrong button b/c they button layout is different laugh2

no they said at 12:00am on the 14th, not the 15th. Major Nelson's Countdown ended at 12:00am on the 14th as well.

They've been shutting it down little by little, it seems like they can't just turn it all off since it connected to the 360 live as well.
