Title: Will Emma Watson be eaten alive by hollywood?
Serenity - July 24, 2009 07:25 AM (GMT)

I really don't know her history as an actress but do you think the harry Potter movies have given her a one way ticket to stardom and in the process ruining her reputation as a normal person possibly?
or has she already been taken over by the Hollywood effect lol
Discuss . . . /dance//

I hope not, she seems like a really talented actress.

I think it will be like star wars.
It was super popular but most of the actors
didnt do so well after it. But hey she might be the Harison Ford.

The only work she has done has been harry potter movies, so me personally I would not called her a talented actress (not saying she not) but need to do more then just a series of one movie to be able to prove yourself. I don't believe the actors made the movie in this case I believe the movie made the actors. If it was not for these movies to you really think they would be this popular, being that some of them this is the only work they have done? We will see but don't see anything big in the future for them after harry potter is done.

I think you're right purple freak, i think the director wanted British actors and actress thus the reason they had the parts they played.
Only time will tell i guess of her getting more roles in movies or not.

well actually Emma Watson was in a movie called Ballet shoes
and voiced in the movie Despereaux.
But obviously no one has heard of ballet shoes.

I lost track and stopped paying to the harry potter series after the 3rd movie I think. Are they getting their Ph.D in wizardry?

Well I guess I was wrong about her getting caught up in Stardom. Second half of this vid is great to hear. Finally an actor/actress that cares more about fame and just being a real person.

Yeah, you'll never hear her name on Tabloids shows, which is a great thing.

Except for that time when she wore see-through underwear and got totally hammered on her 18th birthday and unintentionally flashed the camera...

Did she actually get hammered though? And if she wasn't breaking the law then I don't see why it's a prob. I mean i'd never get drink (not my ting) but it is her personal life. The media loves to inflate everything. That's why I'd hate being an actor, every aspect of your life including personal is being watched and the second you screw up they are on you.

It was legal (drinking age in England is 18), but she was still in the tabloids for it. :D

yeah the media would do that lol
I mean I could understand if she was under age and they wanted to freak out about it but since it was legal where she lives I don't see the deal.
