Based on the popular video game Mortal Kombat.

Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and Sonya Blade have embarked on a sacred mission to defend the realm of Earth in a tournament called Mortal Kombat from the Outworld realm which is ruled by an immortal who has crowned himself emperor. Now he seeks out to conquer and enslave the Earth Realm. To enter the realm of Earth the emperor's demon sorcerer Shang Tsung and his warriors have to win 10 straight victories in Mortal Kombat. They have won 9 and it's up to Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and Sonya Blade to stop them.

Here are some Screen Caps. Post some if you have some. Feel free to discuss the movie.

Oh that was a great movie.
Very good to the game story.
And the fighting was great.

I agree. I rather enjoyed this movie. I remember people wondering if they should go see it because they were disappointed with Street Fighter the Movie. It turned out to be a pretty decent movie though. The fighting was pretty amazing.

Oh yea the street fighter movie was kinda corny.
But this stayed serious, of course with the comic relief every
once in a while. The fighting was done very well and the characters fit perfectly.

Yeah, even in the game though. I've always like the first game's story.
