either way we get 9 fresh episodes of awesome so will not be worrying about the ratings until after the last episode . . .then I will start posting info about if/and when we get S3 or not . . .

I think it has little to do with ratings they just blame it on ratings look at the show "Moonlight" that show had alot of viewers and many fans of the show still what happened to it canned! they cancelled it after one season

No, I know my cousin has the DVD so I might borrow them, but I'll see the new one on friday and see if there worth it, even if I get a little lost.

yeah go ahead and watch it but it may not mean as much since the characters have developed so much you may not understand them or have the emotional connection everyone has who's seen all the episodes so take that into consideration :)
But I hope Cameron's performance this Friday is enough to convince you =)
