What are your thoughts about famous actor and actresses?? Do you think ppl should be holding the in such high regard, are they better than normal people, and why do fan sites and the like form in the first place? I've always wondered what draws us as humans towards a single individual . . . pls discuss I'd like to hear your thoughts . . .

I never understood it myself. I guess it's because they do things people wish they could do. They are also always in the spotlight and you watch them so much you feel like you know them in some sorta way. Some people get inspired, some people are haters, some people are perverts, it just depends on the celebrity :D

I guess i fall under the inspired category, when i saw Ivana act I was inspired and some things on my outlook on life changed b/c her acting was so convincing.

And for Summer her characters were so unique and Summer carried them so well I was amazed.

I think ppl who worship them as if they were a god is totally wrong, it's like they think their life means less or something compared to their actor which ain't true.

At the same time, I'll admit I get jealous sometimes too :P Sometimes after seeing a really good episode with Summer or Tony Shalhoub I just wanna fly out the greet them and spend the whole day with them b/c other people get too lol

I can't imagine being someone like Summer . . . .I don;t think i could being a girl in this day and age for tv would be hard enough considering she is beautiful and there are a lot of crazies out there who only see her as an object more than a girl /crazy//

If I was a girl I don't think acting would be my #1 thing, I'd be too afraid of all the perverts out there and all the crazy stuff they could do with images of me lol Also some conversation on forums get crazy as well I can imagine . . .. maybe that is why they don't like looking themselves up lol

TBH I'm afraid to meet them in real life somtimes. I worry that they'd be terrible people and my image of them would be changed. I know they're not real when they're being interviewed or playing someone on t.v. and that's how I know them, as the people on t.v. or the internet. I know if they were rude people I'd lose a lot of respect and probably wouldn't want to continue supporting their careers by watching or buying whatever it is they do.

yeah, you just never know . . . I'd like to think Summer is a nice gal but i can never know really. She makes mistakes like everyone else I bet but I just hope when ppl become famous it doesn't turn them into monsters . .

Look at Hilary Duff laugh1

I don't think it has anything to do with being famous, a person could worship a person they have a crush on or something like that I just think a person being famous people notice this type of activity more and the non famous obession get over looked. As for what attracts a person to a famous person there all kinds, could be there looks, their acting skills, how they interact with their fans. I would never call anyone out for being attracted to a famous person cause that would just be mean, most people have their phantasy about someone which is usually a celebrity but wouldn't actually act on it.

I always wonder how someone becomes famous, i mean really the people who get them there are like the directors and producers, then after that is a rolling snowball lol

ralphalf - February 9, 2009 07:08 AM (GMT)
Yeah, it's just a matter of knowing the right people or luck really being on your side. I guess it's hard work and dedication too :D

purplefreak3 - February 9, 2009 07:16 AM (GMT)
I think it more of luck take for example abigail breslin her brother spencer breslin was the first person in the their family to be in a movie (he played the young Rusty Duritz in "The Kid" with Bruce Willis) his mother said it in a interview on the DVD but who is the famous one his sister abigail never hear anything about him.

Ha ha tough gig. But that's how it is.

purplefreak3 - February 10, 2009 03:52 AM (GMT)
ok here a perfect example what I was talking about when I said you don't need to be famous to have people notice you. This girl Erica Englebert is a cheerleader for Cheer Extreme she is not famous but she has a nice size fan base going on.

Here couple videos of here from youtube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jzx8iZL0kQk

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmbXzydXr60

There plenty movie videos of her on youtube from variety of people.

ralphalf - February 10, 2009 03:58 AM (GMT)
I've never heard of her.

Yikes what's going on with cheerleading. Those little girls are still babies and they're dressed all provocative. I remember seeing the movie Bring it On a long time ago and they weren't anywhere as revealing as these girls are.

Those kinda outfits should be left to the NFL/NBA cheerleaders.

purplefreak3 - February 10, 2009 04:07 AM (GMT)
