Time for episode 3 of Season 1 discussion to begin! The Turk, a computer that plays Chess and more B)-

The dream in the beginning of this episode was cool!! Going back and finding the guys that started the whole thing....Then they were all Terminators!! Great scene starter here!
Serenity - February 6, 2009 06:10 AM (GMT)
yeah I plan to watch it again tonight, since I've only seen it once.
You really start to see Sarah break the rules in this episode . . .going as far as possibly killing Andy good and then Burning his house down later.
The Turk is that dangerous considering it could be the future chip that the terminators run off of.
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 06:17 AM (GMT)
Yeah, and here's where Derick comes in.
I also love the scene of Cameron in the bathroom!! rotfl
B*tch W*ore Much?
Serenity - February 6, 2009 06:19 AM (GMT)
yeah I love . . .
"John . . . .I am a b**ch whore now"
LOl WAT laugh2
She doesn't understand how bad that is b/c she's still is understanding humans lol
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 06:27 AM (GMT)
So did the girl jump because that was drawing of her and a teacher?
Serenity - February 6, 2009 06:29 AM (GMT)
I think so, and did it ever tell who did that drawing or no?
Also what do you think about Cameron holding John back and letting the girl fall? Was it John's responsibility? Should he have felt like it was his fault? Remember he never did anything to the girl so yeah . . . .idk
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 06:31 AM (GMT)
I think she was protecting him from being a hero and getting in the papers. He so badly wants to do what's right but then he'd be giving away is location.
Serenity - February 6, 2009 06:33 AM (GMT)
Yeah, its just did she have to die? I think everyone who was watching should have done something . . . .I wouldn't sit there . . .
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 06:36 AM (GMT)
The kids think she just wanted attention so they were egging her on. What a bunch of bullies.
It's interesting because Sarah and John were faced with the decision to save somebody's life in this episode.
Serenity - February 6, 2009 06:39 AM (GMT)
yeah true, and both of them didn't kill who they were planning to save either.
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 07:07 AM (GMT)
Yet both die
Epic fail
Serenity - February 6, 2009 07:08 AM (GMT)
yeah just how it was . . . John and Cameron and Sarah are trying to save mankind so it may mean some ppl will die that they cannot help. . . .
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 07:09 AM (GMT)
Right, so this turick. Is it the one that ends up being what controls everything?
Serenity - February 6, 2009 07:14 AM (GMT)
they think, but since it was smart enough, Sarah didn't want to take any chances so they are going to destroy it . . .
And what about Cromartie?? He is coming back!
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 07:16 AM (GMT)
Yep....He did that whole formula for the skin and blood.....Amazing scene!!
Serenity - February 6, 2009 07:17 AM (GMT)
Yeah it explains also how fast Cameron heals, the skin on her regenerates itself!
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 07:22 AM (GMT)
Yeah it, the scientist was so amazed with the working formula...So Cameron regenerates quickly...This kind of tech would have been great for the regular humans.
Serenity - February 6, 2009 07:28 AM (GMT)
yeah but I don't think it works with humans b/c the skin on the terminators is only an outer layer . . . who knows maybe it would help humans too . ..
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 07:34 AM (GMT)
Yeah, so why is Cameron more like a robot in this episode. In the pilot she seemed more real with her interaction with John.
Serenity - February 6, 2009 07:46 AM (GMT)
She only acted more human with John b/c she needed to get closer to him. After that she had no need to fake it . . .
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 07:52 AM (GMT)
True, but I think she would have looked so cute doing it. It would totally crush me if she turned bad and they had to destroy her if she was girly and cutesy.
Serenity - February 6, 2009 07:54 AM (GMT)
yeah but i don't think she will show that fake emotion anymore b/c she is a Robot after all . . . she has no feelings for that and only mimics when she has to to "blend in"
ralphalf - February 6, 2009 07:56 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I like Sarah Connor more and more with each episode. She's a little softer than Linda's version but she's gotta be with a teenager going through all those emotions.
Serenity - February 6, 2009 09:22 AM (GMT)
yeah it makes for a good show, and Cameron being there all the time makes it even more interesting
