It may seem like a dumb question but really think about it . . . so many people (including ourselves) love to watch movies and tv shows. What draws us to see these people who act literally on screen? Is it purely thier looks? Is it thier attidude, or is it possibly the fact they have the ability and talnet to channel into the very soul of being human and bring emotion to it's highest peak?

Personally I think it's a big combination of them. Just remmeber they are the same as us really, just thier talent in a way includes being liked and being well known you could say . . . ..

I think alot of things have to do with it, the person like the actor because a friend/relative/bg-gf like them, the person was in a big movie, the actor is connected to another actor you like (they are friends or been in the same movie) you see the same actor in alot of movies that you watch, they think the person is sexy I mean this list could go on for awhile.

Me personally how I decide I don't know really I guess there just something about them that I like.

Bruce Willis - Great Action guy
Tommy Lee Jones - Just the way he holds himself
Nicolas Cage - I really never seen a bad movie with him in it.
Jodelle Ferland - I don't really know there just something about her

I agree. So many different reasons why actors are liked. Looks is one thing, talent is another. I guess a big reason is how well you can relate to the actor or actress.

for me it is the actresses/actor who can create those subtle looks and really draw you in . ... People like Summer and Ivana can do stuff like that.

Yes Summer is a good actress from what I have seen but the show I will always remember her from is when she played on The 4400 oh and talking about making characters believable have you seen Burn Notice, Jeffery Donovan play his character Micheal so well.
