For abut a year now we've had the choice to convert this Ivisionfree board to the new Zeta version. I've never made a change yet simply that IF has been working fine, but I'd like to hear and see what you all think if we were to convert.

If it'll help you why not. I like this board the way it is but if you like the other one better and it his more options for you go for it. Is it easier to use than this board? I saw it has Youtube embedding. Is that something you'd want? The zetaboard says it helps regular users help out moderators by reporting inappropriate content so they're really promoting that board a lot. It's up to you. :D

alright I'm getting a "test" Board today to play around with zeta and see all there is

NO this doesn't mean Armory WILL be converted and NO this doesn't mean the end of IF :) I like IF but I've heard and seen some pretty cool features that may make this place even more fun so I want to give it a try.

I also plan to play around with graphics and see how hard it is to make a layout for ZB . . . . if it turns out it's more annoying than helpful then forget it, but since I know IF really well, I consider seeing what the newer version board may have to offer us B)-

I've got a LOT to learn in the new ACP and stuff if I get past that then I may select a few member in a month or so to BETA test with me the place . . . . if they find it's good then I will opt this place to be converted. This is still a LONG time down the road though folks so don't worry nothing is changing here for a long long time B)- But the wheels are moving now :D

yeah I've done a bit for the day . . . so far so good, already a few features I said "Cool!" about so yeah B)-

Well they both have their differences and I help/run forums that are both IF and Zeta so they are both good. This site seems to do good with IF but Zeta is also really nice and has alot of the features already that IF only has with mods. Only thing you really lose on zeta and usually only admins use it is the allow HTML in posts, otherwise besides that fact Zeta is much better then IF.

If its still up for debate, I think we should switch. I like zeta the best from my past experiences.
