Title: Viacom vs Time Warner Cable
Description: 19 Channels lost

So there's a feud going on between TWC and Viacom over costs of their programs such as MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, etc. Viacom is asking for around 25 cents per customer for running their channels but TWC doesn't want to comply so on Jan 1 of 09 TWC customers will be losing Viacom channels. What do you all think?
I have TWC since that's all that runs down here and I think it sucks.
Here's what Viacom has to say about it:
Vicacom on TWC

I was watching 70's Show last night on the N/Noggin, and it had that ticker, saying TWC will lose Viacom. I think its rediculous, Viacom is asking way to much, sure only .25, thats about 2 dollars for every street, and with the amount of people with TWC, that adds up. Also Bright House will also opt out.

Looks like they settled. Not much has been said on the deal they made. I didn't know though that Time Warner pays Viacom around 300 million a year for it's programming. Yikes that's a lot of money!!
Here's where I read that:

Yeah, they're very strict on all that. It annoys me when there's a video I like and then they remove it saying Viacom owns it.
