Title: Halo 3 is a tool of Satan CORRUPTING OUR YOUTH

The following was posted on the halo 3 bungie.net forums, I lol'd pretty hard. I think the guy was serious too . . . . . kinda scares me lol

As my title states, I wish to inform you that our youth, many of whom may be reading this now, are being corrupted and converted to evil by this game. It is a utility of Satan, using subtle, subliminal methods to slowly turn its players away from God.

I’m not calling those that developed the game evil, at least they’re not consciously evil, more likely they have already been drawn to the dark during the time they spent under Microsoft’s power. It’s not their fault, but they’re too late to be saved and now work for The Devil doing his bidding in controlling our children.

Halo 3 uses a variety of techniques to subdue those that know no better, and I have devoted a lot of time and effort into uncovering these so that you can all be spared from Satan’s wrath.

Firstly, and most obviously, the Campaign features a lot of biblical references, and puts on the player’s shoulders blasphemous tasks such as stopping The Covenant and destroying The Ark. With weak-minded children such as many of yourselves performing these tasks virtually (and encouraged to repeat them over and over with multiple difficulties and ‘Skulls’), the corruption begins to root itself into the metaphorical ground.

Secondly, the game uses colour imagery to turn players towards racism in the Multiplayer mode. Teams of players are split up and each team allocated a colour, the aim of the game is usually to kill people that are not the same colour as you. Players are rewarded for committing racist acts against people that are simply not the same as them. God looks down on racism with a frown, while Satan welcomes it with open arms and a devilish grin.

Lastly, Bungie offers the player the ability to ‘Forge’ their own maps, gifting them the ability of creation and forgoing the idea that God creates all and has supreme power. While some see it as a huge plus, giving players the use of Forge is more power than they should be allowed to handle, and can often cause them to become vain and hungry for more, or bitter and jealous of God. The fact that this feature is used to market the game only helps support my theories about the true intentions of Halo 3.

I’ve only listed three of the many ways this game attempts to slowly, silently recruit our youth to the armies of H**l, but it is not safe to play alone and unprotected. If you let a child play this game, or indeed are below the age of forty yourself, then I would advise you keep a bible close by, open to Chapter Thirteen of the Book Of Revelations, ‘Antichrist and the False Prophets’ to remind yourself of what corruption your soul faces.

For an easier, but slightly more costly method of salvation and protection, you can add the initials of my username, TTL to your Gamertag. This will show God that you are aware of the evil biting at your heels, and that you know not to be corrupted.

Thank-you very much for heeding the call, and know this: you are never safe from the efforts of evil, especially not when playing this game.

Sincerely,

Bill Knight
